As always Santino's doesn't disappoint. Been coming here for more than 10 years and even when they were on Topanga canyon back in the day.

The Blanco pizza and Pepperoni and Sausage are my favorites!

NY old school pizza.  And the salads are the freshest!  Santinos is the best. *****

A couple of years ago on my 20th anniversary, my wife and I decided to cancel our reservation at the fancy Water Grill downtown, and stay home instead and order our favorite pizza from Santinos.  I usually pick pizzas up from there on my way home from work.  When we tried to get it delivered on our anniversary they said we were a couple of miles outside their delivery area, so couldn't do it.  My wife told them it was our anniversary, they said no.  So we went to pick up the pizza... on our anniversary.  And this became our anniversary conversation; who do we know who would have figured out a way to get that pizza delivered?  It has even turned into a life lesson for my wife and I over the last couple of years; are we too passive to get the pizza delivered?

So it's now my wife's birthday and I figure a great gift to her would be to settle the score and turn our failure of a couple of years ago into success, because it really did bother me that we didn't "get the pizza" delivered.  We run our own business and we're fairly successful people and we couldn't even get a pizza delivered from our favorite pizza joint?  Come on!  So I call Santinos and ask for delivery and offer the driver an extra $10, they say no.  But I'm gonna get the pizza.  I ask the lady to talk to the owner and tell him that a longtime customer has a special birthday request and is willing to pay more to get it.  The annoyed owner calls back a few minutes later and tells me why he can't break his rules.  I'm starting to be that guy that I don't like in order to get the pizza, but I don't give up, cuz to get the pizza is to make up for being too passive, this is my wife's birthday gift.   So I just tell the owner this story and how I came there on my 20th anniversary to pick up the pizza, but this is a life lesson thing and tonight I really need him to make an exception and drive a little further and I'll pay him an extra $20.  And ... the curse was lifted.  He reluctantly agreed to deliver it and my wife had the best birthday ever because we knew we had the right stuff "to get the pizza".

And the owner brought it himself and though he was still a little annoyed, he said "Well, it sounds like a very special evening".  And t'was, because of him.  So though a bit crusty, there is indeed customer service here if you demand it.  And the pizza is great NY old school pizza.  And the salads are the freshest!  Santinos is the best.

Thin crust, quality ingredients. The sausage is outstanding *****

Excellent NY quality pizza. Thin crust, quality ingredients. The sausage (topping) is outstanding, please try it if you are not vegetarian. Don't order any size less than jumbo because you will be disappointed that there are no left overs.
